Factory-Farmed Animals Don’t Have a Choice—But You Do!
That’s the message behind “Choices,” our fifth commercial to hit the MTV airwaves—and the most empowering one yet. From the pregnant pig in a gestation crate who is unable to turn around to the egg-laying hen in a battery cage who can’t spread her wings to the calf in a veal stall who can barely move, our hard-hitting, 30-second ad shows viewers a glimpse of some of the routine miseries forced upon factory-farmed animals every day and encourages them to take a stand against this systematic cruelty to animals by choosing vegetarian foods.
During the spring 2006 academic semester, “Choices,” ran on MTV stations in 22 cities nationwide and was viewed more than four million times. The feedback the spot generated was tremendously positive! Here’s just one of the countless emails we received:

Now in its third year, our MTV Commercial Campaign has proven to be one of the most successful and cost-effective ways to expose the painful reality of animal agribusiness.
