Building a Faunette:
Introduction

A “Faunette” is a mobile, upright cabinet designed to hold audio and video components for use in playing video footage to a street audience. Through FaunaVision, Inc., Eddie Lama has been producing high-quality and effective Faunettes and FaunaVision vans for years.

These instructions seek to show animal rights activists how to make their own Faunettes at minimal cost. A 13-inch–screen FaunaVision, Inc. unit is sold at around $2,000 and looks absolutely fantastic. This manual will show you how to build a Faunette for only a few hundred dollars, but with all of the same components as a FaunaVision, Inc. model. The cost to make a particular Faunette depends on your resourcefulness in obtaining materials and the complexity of your design.
