Special COK Event in Los Angeles (July 20, 2009)
On July 20, 2009, more than 150 people gathered for a COK fundraising party at the 2 HeadedHorse Production/Art Studio in Los Angeles. In addition to various artists keeping the crowd entertained, COK showcased our award-winning 30-second commercial, "A Side of Truth", discussed the importance of our cost-effective pro-veg ad campaign and shared the best of our love and hate mail from television viewers. All the while, party-goers feasted on delicious vegan cuisine generously donated by several area restaurants and vied for the fabulous raffle prizes.
What's more, during the event COK introduced our new Los Angeles Volunteer Outreach Coordinator Devin Murphy! If you'd like to get active for animals in L.A., let us know and we'll add you to our Activist List. Devin will be coordinating several outreach opportunities -- stay tuned for details.
