COK’s 2008 Annual Holiday Fundraising Party: Another fantastic event!
On Saturday, December 13th nearly 200 people gathered at the MamaSita Cultural Center in Washington, D.C. to celebrate another year of compassionate action for animals at our annual holiday fundraising party.
Delicious vegan food was donated from over a dozen area restaurants, and Boston-based Wheeler’s Frozen Desserts generously dished out several flavors of dairy-free ice cream!
Our silent auction was a hit, as was the premiere of our 2008 Year in Review video.
Thank you to everyone—all of the sponsors, supporters, and volunteers—who made this event a huge success! We raised over $23,000 as part of our December Matching Campaign!
