Bread & Brews Goes Vegan for Earth Day & Launches Meatless Mondays!

Compassion Over Killing is excited to announce that for the second year in a row, after working with COK, Bread & Brew is celebrating Earth Day by going 100% vegan on April 22!

The special all-vegan menu will include mouth-watering dishes such as polenta bites with mushroom pâté and micro green appetizers, four types of vegan soups, Bread & Brew’s almost famous “chicken” salad sandwich, vegan Caesar salad with crispy capers,  “chicken” scaloppini, paella with vegan sausage and vegetables, desserts, and so much more that will make your taste buds sing for joy!

So join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner (or all three!), or stop by for drinks on Thurs., April 22 for this special Vegan Day event, which also doubles as a benefit for COK—10% of the day’s sales will be automatically donated towards our farmed animal advocacy efforts.

WHERE: Bread & Brew, 1247 20th St., NW, DC
WHEN: Thurs., April 22 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The good news doesn’t stop there:  Immediately following this day-long vegan celebration, Bread & Brew is launching a Meatless Monday menu! That’s right—starting on Mon., April 26, this popular Green Certified Restaurant is taking meat off its menu every Monday.
