Compassion Over Killing at WorldFest in Los Angeles!

On Sun., May 16, 2010, several Compassion Over Killing volunteers tabled at LA’s largest Earth Day Festival: WorldFest! And the sunny Southern California weather brought thousands of people to this eco-themed festival.

At the event, COK volunteers distributed hundreds of our Easy Vegan Recipes, Vegetarian Starter Guides, and Eating Sustainably brochures to interested festival-goers, while also discussing how  choosing vegetarian foods protects the planet and animals.  Thanks to COK volunteer Jaya Bhumani for coordinating this successful outreach event!
