Dunkin’ Cruelty Feed-in in Baltimore
On Sun., March 28, nearly a dozen Compassion Over Killing volunteers took over the sidewalk in front of a downtown Dunkin’ Donuts to host a Dunkin’ Cruelty feed-in!
Volunteers gave away over 50 samples of vegan doughnuts from Emily’s Café & Desserts and over 150 copies of COK’s Dunkin’ Exposed flyer to Dunkin’ Donuts customers and passersby. Many people were interested in trying a healthier, more humane doughnut and inquired where they could get such a delightful treat to which COK volunteers replied by handing them a copy of COK’s Vegetarian Guide to Baltimore.
After the feed-in, volunteers headed over to Emily’s Café & Desserts for brunch and a special screening of the movie Chicken Run. Thank you to all of the Baltimore-area volunteers who helped at the feed-in, making it such a successful event!
