Feed-In at the Environmental Film Festival (March 24, 2010)
On Wed., March 24, 2010, a group of COK volunteers hosted a vegan feed-in on a busy street corner between DC’s Environmental Film Fest and George Washington University, and the feed-in was a hit with passersby!
We handed out 100 vegan drumsticks and over 850 pieces of our pro-vegetarian literature. People were thrilled to try the drumsticks and everyone—some even surprising themselves --loved the taste of them. Our feed-in was filmed by Voice of America Urdu TV for a segment on vegan lifestyles—and even the reporter found the drumstick delicious!
Thank you to everyone for making this such a successful event!
We’d love to have your help at our next feed-in! Please send an email to info@cok.net if you’d like to get involved.
