Dunkin’ Cruelty Vegan Feed-in in New York City (March 17, 2010)

During the morning rush on Wed., Mar. 17, a handful of Compassion Over Killing, Mercy for Animals, and Animal Protection & Rescue League volunteers hosted a vegan feed-in in front of  a busy Manhattan Dunkin’ Donuts location.

Volunteers gave away over 100 free samples of vegan doughnuts and muffins plus nearly 300 copies of COK’s new Dunkin’ Exposed flyer to Dunkin’ Donuts customers and passersby. After tasting our free vegan doughnuts, many people told us they were surprised by how good they were, asked us where we got them,  and commented that they’d absolutely buy a vegan doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts.

Thank you to everyone who helped at this New York City feed-in, making it such a successful event!
