DC Vegan Drinks at Asylum (February 16, 2010)

On Tuesday, February 16, 2010, Compassion Over Killing teamed up with DC Vegan Drinks to host a special event at one of DC’s favorite bars and restaurants: Asylum. Offering a buy one, get one half off vegan entrée deal and $5 vegan White Russians, Asylum was packed full with vegans from all over the DC-metro area. These animal-friendly folks used the time to network, socialize, and, of course, have fun! Members from local animal advocacy groups shared details on their current campaigns, while others signed up to volunteer at upcoming events-all while enjoying great company.
