Reaching out to students (February, 2010)

This February, Compassion Over Killing hosted educational booths and workshops at special events around the D.C.-Metro area. reaching out to hundreds of middle- and high-school students about the benefits of a vegetarian diet. From demonstrating how to make easy and delicious vegetarian snacks, to presentations about the benefits of vegetarian eating, to tabling at high school political fairs, volunteers with Compassion Over Killing helped spread a message of compassion to interested teens and parents—all while distributing hundreds of our Vegetarian Starter Guides and Vegetarian Guides to D.C. and Surrounding Areas to help these students transition to a healthier and more humane diet!

Want to help us empower others to stand up for animals? Join us for one of our many upcoming events or contact us at info@cok.net.
