Leafleting with COK (January and February 2010)

Compassion Over Killing kicked-started 2010 with a slew of leafleting events in the DC-area, Los Angeles, Baltimore, and Austin! COK volunteers celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Chinese New Year, and even a few unseasonably warm winter days by hitting the pavement and distributing more than 4,000 pieces of our pro-vegetarian literature.

In D.C., our Easy Vegan Recipe booklets were so popular that eager passersby would line up to receive a brochure. One mother exclaimed, "This information is exactly what I was looking for. My son just went vegetarian, and he's helping our whole family make the switch!"
