Leafleting on the Santa Monica Pier! (September 5, 2009)

For our first outreach event in Los Angeles, Compassion Over Killing hit the Santa Monica Pier over the Labor Day weekend for a leafleting extravaganza! Met by an enthusiastic and receptive crowd, we were cleaned out of our Vegetarian Starter Guides and Easy Vegan Recipe booklets in no time. From SoCal natives to Texans and Canadians out enjoying a day in the sun, hundreds of people left the beach that day with more than just a stellar bronze; they came away with loads of information about the many benefits of choosing a vegetarian diet.
