COK Is Raising the Roof: A Pro-Veg Ad Fundraising Party (August 15, 2009)

On a cool Saturday evening, COK hosted "COK Is Raising the Roof: A Pro-Veg Ad Fundraising Party" on the roof of an eco-friendly apartment complex in Takoma Park, kindly donated to us for the night by COK supporters. As the solar powered lights turned up, the party got down. The guests feasted on pizza topped with Teese, sandwiches donated by Java Green, and desserts baked by our lovely volunteers. We raffled off great prizes and read our favorite love and hate mail about our ads.

After watching our powerful 30 second ads, COK explained to the packed rooftop the amazing impact of the campaign: millions of viewers are reached, traffic to our website TryVeg.com skyrockets, and only costs pennies per view.

With the help of the fundraiser, COK raised over $60,000 in August to get our Pro-Veg Ads on MTV this fall! Thank you to everyone who came out for a successful, fun(draising) event!
