Feed-In for National Veggie Hot Dog Month (July 28, 2009)

On July 28, 2009, COK hosted its second veggie hot dog feed-in of the month in honor of National Veggie Hot Dog Month. Several volunteers dished out free delicious veggie dogs to hungry passersby during the busy lunch hour in downtown, D.C. In all, we gave away 60 veggie dogs in less than 30 minutes -- and we also handed out more than 500 pieces of pro-vegetarian literature.
