Leafleting with COK (May 2009)

During the month of May, several COK volunteers and interns leafleted at busy metro stations throughout the D.C. areas, distributing over 1,000 pieces of pro-vegetarian literature. Using our Vegetarian Starter Guide, Vegetarian Restaurant Guide to D.C., and Eating Sustainably brochure, we’re empowering others to stand up for animals and the planet every time they sit down to eat. One passerby even turned around after reading our literature and asked for enough copies to share with his entire office!
