April 11, 2009: Volunteer and BOCA Celebration Party in D.C.
On Saturday, April 11, Compassion Over Killing hosted a Volunteer and BOCA Celebration Party at the MamaSita Cultural Center in D.C. More than 70 COK volunteers came out for delicious vegan food---donated from many area restaurants---as well as social networking, an award presentation, and games.
From D.C. to Baltimore to Chicago to New Mexico, there were volunteers from all over.
Thank you to all of our volunteers: We couldn't do it without you!
