Tabling at the NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo, January 10-11, 2009

On the weekend of January 10th, COK was joined by 14 volunteers for our first outreach event of the New Year: the NBC4 Health & Fitness Expo at the Washington Convention Center! With over 85,000 people in attendance, this event offered a fantastic opportunity to educate others about the many benefits of a vegetarian diet. We distributed more than 5,300 pieces of literature, including COK’s Vegetarian Starter Guide, Easy Vegan Recipes and Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas.
