Vegan Feed-In: November 15, 2008

On Saturday, November 15, 2008 volunteers hosted COK's monthly vegan feed-in at Farragut Square in Washington, D.C. Passersby sampled animal-friendly fare and received pro-vegetarian literature, including our Vegetarian Starter Guide and Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas, encouraging them to adopt a compassionate diet.

This cyclist wanted to learn more about vegetarian eating and sample the orange “chicken.”

A volunteer offered copies of COK’s Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas.

The meat-free orange chicken was a hit with the whole family.
