More than 100 “Vegan A Go-Goers” Joined COK at the Science Club!

On Monday, November 3, 2008, vegan cookbook maven Sarah Kramer spoke to a packed house at the Science Club in D.C. as part of her international book tour for her newly-released Vegan A Go-Go! A Cookbook and Survival Manual for Vegans on the Road. This COK benefit event also doubled as the unveiling of the Science Club’s new vegan menu! After several weeks of working with COK, Science Club, a popular bar and restaurant in downtown, D.C., is now dishing out a variety of savory vegan options, including grilled tofu and veggie skewers, stuffed mushrooms, mini house-made vegan burgers, and desserts from Sticky Fingers Bakery.

The event was a huge success, and a special thanks goes out to the Science Club, Sticky Fingers Bakery, Mike Giacomello (vegan chef extraordinaire), Sarah Kramer, and Arsenal Pulp Press!

Be sure to also check out Sarah Kramer’s blog about this event!
