Vegan Feed-In: July 28, 2008

In honor of National Veggie Hot Dog Month, Compassion Over Killing served veggie hot dogs at our July feed-in, held on Monday evening, July 28 on the National Mall before one of Washington, D.C.’s favorite summer outdoor activities: watching classic movies on a giant screen. Movie-goers sampled 140 pieces of veggie dogs and 350 pieces of pro-veg literature were distributed.

People of all ages, including this curious 4-year-old girl, enjoyed the free vegetarian samples.

More than 100 free vegetarian food samples where served to a hungry and receptive crowd.

Volunteers also passed out hundreds of our Eating Sustainably brochures.
