Vegan Feed-In: On Cinco de Mayo at the National Mall:

On Saturday, May 5, 2007, at the National Mall, several volunteers hosted COK’s monthly vegan feed-in. Dozens of free “chicken” drumsticks were sampled by both tourists and area residents, and over 750 copies of our Easy Vegan Recipes and Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas were distributed during the event, which coincided with the National Mall’s Cinco de Mayo Festival.
