As soon as the event started, a passerby stopped to sample a “chicken” drumstick. |
COK volunteers distributed hundreds of pieces of pro-vegetarian literature. |
A large banner attracted dozens of people to the feed-in. |
After sampling the drumsticks, many people asked questions about vegetarian eating. |
This McDonald’s customer readily sampled the “chicken” drumstick and picked up our Vegetarian Starter Guide. |
Altogether, over 50 samples of animal-friendly food were given away and more than 350 copies
of our Vegetarian Starter Guide and
Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas
were distributed.
Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this event a success!
