Vegan Feed-In Outside a McDonald’s in Washington, D.C.: November 4, 2006
On November 4, 2006, COK volunteers held a vegetarian feed-in outside a
McDonald’s in Washington, D.C. Passersby sampled free, vegetarian “chicken” drumsticks and
were provided with information about the routine abuses on factory farms along with pro-vegetarian literature,
recipes, and veg-friendly restaurant listings.

Altogether, over 50 samples of animal-friendly food were given away and more than 600 copies
of our Vegetarian Starter Guide and
Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas
were distributed.
