Anti-Fur Vigil
February 14, 2004

On February 14, 2004, COK and the Fund for Animals held an anti-fur Valentine’s Day vigil in front of the D.C. Neiman Marcus. Animal advocates asked the upscale department store to “have a heart” and stop selling fur. Hundreds of brochures were distributed to shoppers, and two young passersby were so upset by Neimans’ fur-selling policy, they took stacks of literature for their friends and schoolmates!
