Fur-Free Friday

Fifty COK activists celebrated Fur-Free Friday, a national day of action for anti-fur advocates, by holding a silent vigil at the D.C. Neiman Marcus. On the day after Thanksgiving—traditionally known as one of the busiest shopping days of the year—hundreds of passersby and store patrons alike learned about the department store chain’s role in horrific animal abuse and were encouraged to ask Neimans to adopt a fur-free policy.
