Anti-Fur Vigil October 18, 2003
More than 50 animal advocates held an anti-fur vigil at Washington, D.C.’s Neiman Marcus. After stopping to watch fur farming and trapping footage on COK’s Faunette (a portable TV/VCR), reading brochures, or talking with activists, many passersby stopped to use advocates’ cell phones to call the corporation’s headquarters to ask for a fur-free store policy. Three shoppers even joined the vigil!
