March is National Craft Month and to celebrate COK is hosting a Vegan Craft Party! Do you craft every moment possible? Have you always wanted to learn how to knit or crochet? Come with your yarn craft of choice (be it knitting, crocheting, embroidery) and we'll supply the snacks.

We will have teachers on hand to show folks how to knit or crochet. Yarn and needles will be available for a small donation to COK. Please let us know if you plan on buying supplies from us so that we'll have enough!

The first-ever Mid-Atlantic Regional Animal Law Symposium, held at the Univ. of Baltimore School of Law, will address a wide range of topics related to the legal condition and welfare of animals in the region. Speakers include COK's General Counsel Cheryl Leahy, Maryland State Senator Jamie Raskin, and Washington, D.C.'s Former Assistant Attorney General Wendy Weinberg. Food will be provided: vegan breakfast generously donated by the Yabba Pot (served at 8:15am) and lunch features a variety of vegan options from Great Sage, Brick Oven Pizza, and Land of Kush.
