Join COK for tabling at the 4th annual Green Man Festival. This free festival will focus on environmental awareness and feature community organizations, crafts and entertainment. We'll be distributing pro-vegetarian literature, including COK's Vegetarian Starter Guide, Easy Vegan Recipes and our newest brochure Eating Sustainably. Help us educate the crowd about making more environmentally conscious and animal-friendly food choices. Please sign up for a one-hour tabling shift.

A few months ago, Compassion Over Killing worked with Asian Grill to help create a new vegan menu loaded with savory mock meat dishes. This popular menu has been so successful that Asian Grill is now expanding its vegan options by adding several new dishes, and to celebrate, it's hosting a Compassion Over Killing benefit day on Wednesday, May 14!

Dine in or order take out anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and 10% of the day's sales from the vegan menu will be automatically donated towards COK's farmed animal advocacy efforts.

Please be sure to bring your friends and family to enjoy delicious animal-friendly fare and help us help animals at the same time!

Please join us at the monthly Java Green funding day on the third Saturday of every month, when a portion of your bill will benefit COK. In addition to their regular menu, Java Green offers a delicious vegan brunch available only on Saturdays until 3:00 p.m.

Join Compassion Over Killing as we "Run for the Animals" of Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary. The 5th annual 5K run and 1 mile fun walk is a fundraiser dedicated to supporting the life-saving work of Poplar Spring, a farmed animal sanctuary. Come out and enjoy the scenic trails, prizes and delicious post-run vegan snacks. The registration fee is only $20 before May 1st, so sign up to race today--and consider joining Team COK!

Raising animals for food is one of the leading causes of pollution and resource deletion today. Join COK at the Arlington County Public Library for a free vegetarian meal and presentation by COK's Erica Meier about how each of us can help fight global warming and animal abuse with our forks. This event is free and open to everyone.
