Looking to connect with other like-minded animal advocates while enjoying delicious vegan food and drinks? COK and DCVegan are teaming up to host DC Vegan Drinks, a monthly social event, at the Science Club! The first event is on Jan. 8, just in time to celebrate the New Year! Our mission is to build a stronger community by bringing together a diverse group of people interested in animal advocacy, whether you're currently active for animals, used to be, want to be, or have ever even thought about it. Everyone is welcome (note: the event is free, but the drinks are not).

Join COK as we reach out to tens of thousands of health conscious people at the NBC4 Health and Fitness Expo. This free event offers health tests and screenings as well as health, medical and fitness information. With 85,000 attendees expected throughout the weekend, the expo is a fantastic opportunity to educate the public on the benefits of a vegetarian diet. Please join us for a 1-2 hour shift.

Want to satisfy your sweet tooth and help us help animals at the same time? Now’s your chance! The awarding-winning Sticky Fingers Bakery is now hosting COK benefit days, on the second Tuesday of each month—join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or dessert and a portion of your bill will be automatically donated towards our efforts to help farmed animals.

Please join us at the monthly Java Green funding day on the third Saturday of every month, when a portion of your bill will benefit COK. In addition to their regular menu, Java Green offers a delicious vegan brunch available only on Saturdays until 3:00 p.m.
