Vegan Spread
Lancaster New Era
March 11, 2009
As a long-time vegan, I was happy to read Susan Jurgelski's article, "Vegan voice: Move to meatlessness a growing trend" (March 4).
Over 100 people turning out for a vegan potluck is a sure sign that more and more people want healthier and more humane fare. Choosing vegan foods is a great way to protect our health and the environment as well as animals.
Our dietary choices have a far-reaching impact on animals & more than one million animals are killed for food every hour of every day.
Lucky for us, and the animals, grocery stores and restaurants everywhere are stocking up on vegan options to meet the increasing demand.
Get started today by visiting www.TryVeg.com for tips, recipes and so much more.
