On July 3rd, 2002, the day before Independence Day, a large banner was dropped from Interstate 495 in Northern Virginia, sending a pro-animal message to hundreds of morning commuters.
The banner read: "Animals Deserve Freedom, Too. Go Vegan. TryVegan.com."
