New Materials for Great Vegetarian Outreach!

Thanks to the fantastic feedback of long-time activists, new vegetarians, and those on the road to compassionate eating, COK has made our popular vegetarian advocacy materials even better!

Our new Vegetarian Eating brochure (perfect for leafleting!) is a great introduction to the many benefits of an animal-free diet. In concise, easy to understand writing, Vegetarian Eating outlines how enjoying cruelty-free fare helps our health, the earth, and, of course, those animals called food.

Based on recipient surveys, we’ve made the Vegetarian Starter Guide even more helpful in showing just how easy and fun making the transition to cruelty-free eating can be. The magazine-sized publication includes detailed information on factory farming, its toll on the earth, and how vegetarian diets can protect us against many diseases. Filled with wonderful resources, recipes, shopping list suggestions, frequently asked questions, and more, this guide can encourage even the most committed carnivore to explore vegetarianism.

Combining our love for delicious, vegetarian fare and our dedication to helping farmed animals, COK put together a tempting collection of our favorite animal-friendly dishes. Easy Vegan Recipes is loaded with mouth-watering recipes. We kept in mind the culinary novice, so the recipes are simple to follow … but the tantalizing appetizers, entrées, and sweets are four-star. See the recipes online at VegRecipes.org or contact us to request for your free copy. Bon appétit!

For those who think vegetarians munch only on salads or steamed vegetable plates when dining out in the nation’s capital, the third edition of COK’s Vegetarian Guide to Washington, D.C. and Surrounding Areas proves them wrong! This directory includes dozens and dozens of vegetarian-friendly restaurants, groceries, bakeries, and even caterers. Check out our online guide at VegDC.com or order a copy from COK.
